Colin Burnett, associate professor in WashU's Film and Media Studies program, has been appointed associate editor of the Journal of Cinema and Media Studies (JCMS, formerly Cinema Journal). He joins a new editorial team which includes co-editors Bo Ruberg (University of California-Irvine) and Elizabeth Ellcessor (University of Virginia) and co-associate editor Jennifer Malkowski (Smith College).
A flagship publication in the fields of film studies and media studies, JCMS is the official journal of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
